Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures leveraging topological qubits and error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise applications in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world problem-solving at scale
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum processor specifications and integration pathways
- Create quantum security protocols resistant to quantum computing threats
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface codes, color codes) and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record developing quantum algorithms for NISQ-era processors
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks and high-performance computing environments
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields (arXiv, Nature journals)
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket) and hybrid workflows
