Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural networks for real-time data processing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for drug discovery optimization
- Lead cross-continental research teams across 3 quantum computing centers
- Secure $5M+ in NSF/EU Horizon grants for quantum-AI initiatives
- Author 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals annually
- Collaborate with AI ethics council on quantum bias mitigation frameworks
- Prototype quantum-resistant blockchain architectures for 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or equivalent (or 8+ years equivalent research)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, QIP)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning frameworks (Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq)
- Proficiency with quantum hardware: Rigetti, IBM Q, or IonQ systems
- Strong Python/C++ with 5+ years high-performance computing experience
- Experience securing $1M+ in government research grants
- Published patents in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Fluency in quantum circuit optimization techniques
