Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for AI optimization and pattern recognition
- Develop error-corrected quantum neural networks for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-ML hybrid systems
- Secure $5M+ in federal research grants for quantum AI initiatives
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development with IBM/Qiskit or Google Cirq
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Publication record in quantum information theory or AI optimization
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation libraries
- Experience securing DoE/NSF grants for quantum research
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-stakes technical projects
