Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural network architectures for complex optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum-AI systems using superconducting qubit platforms
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum-AI accelerator chips
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure and manage government/private research grants totaling $5M+
- Mentor PhD researchers and lead cross-functional technical teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development (Qiskit/Cirq experience required)
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum ML or related fields
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum variational algorithms
