Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for hybrid classical-quantum systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum neural networks
- Lead cross-functional teams in deploying quantum-AI solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, NeurIPS)
- Optimize quantum circuit architectures for practical commercial applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Secure research funding through DARPA/NSF grants
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Physics with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record in publishing peer-reviewed quantum-AI research
- Strong Python/C++ skills with TensorFlow/PyTorch proficiency
- Familiarity with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Background in computational complexity theory
- Excellent communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
