Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms leveraging AI optimization techniques
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Conduct experimental validation on 1000+ qubit quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Secure patents for novel quantum-AI methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to technical documentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning principles
- Published research in quantum computing or AI (Nature/Science-level preferred)
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to debug complex quantum systems
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
