Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical neural networks with 10+ qubit scalability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-AI applications in cryptography and materials science
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, IEEE Quantum)
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Publication record in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
