Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models leveraging D-Wave and IBM quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Research quantum-resistant cryptography protocols for next-gen AI security
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence in practical applications
- Translate theoretical quantum computing advances into patentable methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and GPU acceleration
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, cloud quantum services)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding through NSF/DARPA proposals
