Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for machine learning tasks.
- Implement quantum circuits using Qiskit, Cirq, or PyTorch Quantum.
- Conduct research on NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices to improve error correction and coherence.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to tailor software solutions for emerging quantum processors.
- Translate theoretical quantum mechanics into scalable software architectures for the 2026 market.
- Document algorithms and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a strong understanding of neural networks and optimization.
- Familiarity with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Pennylane, or PyQuil).
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and cloud-based deployment environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) and parallel processing is a plus.
