Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Systems: Design and implement scalable quantum-classical hybrid algorithms tailored for 2026 computing environments.
- R&D Leadership: Lead research initiatives exploring new quantum gates, error correction methods, and AI integration points.
- Model Optimization: Optimize machine learning models to run efficiently on near-term quantum processors (NISQ devices).
- Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for quantum infrastructure within the organization, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with software engineers and data scientists to integrate quantum modules into existing AI pipelines.
- Prototyping: Rapidly prototype and validate novel quantum approaches in sandbox environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information or Machine Learning.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or quantum computing research.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of quantum mechanics fundamentals and quantum algorithms (Grover, Shor, VQE).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholder groups.
