Key Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Roadmap: Define and architect the technical vision for the 2026 release cycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
- System Design: Design highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data throughput.
- Technical Governance: Establish architectural standards and coding best practices across all engineering teams to ensure maintainability and security.
- Prototype Development: Hands-on involvement in building proof-of-concept prototypes for emerging technologies, including edge computing and quantum-ready algorithms.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the bridge between engineering, product management, and executive leadership to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent extensive experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Programming: Proficiency in languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or Java.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
