Chronos Future Systems is pioneering the next generation of computational paradigms. As we look toward the technological landscape of 2026, we are seeking a visionary Lead Quantum Architect to design scalable quantum solutions that will redefine the industry.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical engineering, leading a team of brilliant minds to solve complex problems using superposition and entanglement.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design fault-tolerant quantum computing systems for NISQ and beyond.
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar frameworks) to solve real-world business challenges.
- Lead the integration of quantum hardware with classical cloud infrastructure (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum).
- Establish best practices for quantum error mitigation and noise reduction strategies.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers in advanced quantum mechanics and software engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the roadmap for 2026 and beyond.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on high-performance computing.
- Proven expertise in quantum computing libraries (Qiskit, PyQuil, PennyLane) and quantum simulators.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, complex numbers, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Experience with Python, C++, and cloud-based quantum platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
