Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 strategic innovation framework using foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present quarterly future-readiness assessments to the board and executive leadership
- Design and conduct immersive scenario-planning workshops for 50+ stakeholders
- Oversee the development of Horizon's 'Future Impact Index' for measuring technological disruption
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic innovation or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products or policies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and systemic risk modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurist or technology journals
