Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR) into product roadmaps
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and risk assessments for board-level decision-making
- Build and manage a high-performing futurist team through mentorship and strategic project oversight
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Partner with R&D to translate future scenarios into tangible R&D priorities and KPIs
- Establish ethical guardrails for exponential technologies aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field preferred
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation conferences (e.g., Davos, CES)
- Experience leading cross-continental teams in agile innovation environments
