Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 scenario models using quantitative forecasting and qualitative trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and business strategies
- Author quarterly horizon scanning reports on disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor a team of futurists and junior analysts
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and investor boards
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or related futurist roles
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and causal layered analysis
- Published thought leadership in futurism or emerging tech (articles/whitepapers)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
