Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum AI and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional innovation labs to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Anticipate societal and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field
- Published thought leadership on 2026 technology trends (whitepapers, patents, or books)
- Proven experience developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Experience leading global innovation teams and managing R&D budgets
