Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology roadmaps with 5-year strategic vision
- Lead cross-functional innovation labs exploring quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and carbon-negative tech
- Partner with VPs of Engineering to prototype next-gen systems (AR/VR, autonomous robotics, biotech interfaces)
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence for emerging tech verticals
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Mentor innovation teams on exponential technology adoption frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record in scaling AI/quantum projects from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AGI, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level experience with Fortune 500 or venture-backed tech unicorns
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Physics, or Futuristics preferred
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, or global innovation consortiums
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global partnerships
