Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap Planning: Define and execute the technical vision for the Version 2026 platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term scalability.
- System Architecture: Design robust, secure, and scalable microservices and cloud-native architectures that can handle high-concurrency loads.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and continuous improvement.
- Technical Governance: Establish and enforce best practices for coding standards, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in legacy systems and architect efficient migration paths to the Version 2026 ecosystem.
- Disaster Recovery & Security: Architect failover strategies and ensure data integrity and cybersecurity compliance for the new platform.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a lead architect or senior engineering role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
- Version Control: Proficiency with Git and advanced branching strategies.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in modern languages (e.g., Go, Rust, TypeScript, or Java).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading diverse, high-performance engineering teams through complex transitions.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
