Responsibilities
- Architectural Vision: Design and oversee the end-to-end technical architecture for The 2026 Initiative, ensuring scalability, security, and performance under extreme loads.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of senior engineers and developers, fostering a culture of best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement.
- System Optimization: Analyze system bottlenecks and implement high-performance solutions to optimize latency and throughput.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Technology Selection: Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and frameworks that align with the long-term vision of The 2026 Initiative.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop robust disaster recovery plans and implement redundancy strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Code Review: Conduct rigorous code reviews and architectural audits to maintain the integrity of the core platform.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent extensive professional experience.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior engineering role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust, with deep experience in cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and distributed systems.
- AI/ML Knowledge: Strong understanding of machine learning infrastructure, neural network deployment, and big data processing (Spark, Kafka).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with innovative, scalable solutions.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification is a plus.
