Responsibilities
- Define the Strategic Roadmap: Lead the long-term technology vision for the organization, specifically focusing on advancements relevant to the year 2026 and the next decade.
- Pilot Emerging Technologies: Identify, evaluate, and pilot cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI, Quantum Cryptography, and Neuromorphic Computing.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, product, and executive teams to translate futuristic concepts into actionable product roadmaps.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct high-level feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for high-risk, high-reward tech investments.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor global tech trends to ensure Apex remains ahead of industry disruptors.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex future-state scenarios to non-technical stakeholders and investors to secure buy-in for new initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategic technology planning, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or advisory capacity.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of current and near-future tech stacks, including AI/ML frameworks, Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure), and Edge Computing.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of successfully forecasting tech trends and implementing them to drive business growth.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical strategies to diverse audiences.
- Adaptability: High comfort level with ambiguity and the ability to navigate rapid technological change.
