Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026-centric prototypes across AI, biotech, and clean energy sectors
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals and market disruption forecasts
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through data-driven investment proposals
- Mentor junior futurists through our patent acceleration program
- Present findings at global tech summits including Web3.0 and Climate Tech conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ years in future-tech domains
- Published research in Nature Futures or similar foresight journals
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester) and scenario planning methodologies
- Track record of commercializing at least two emerging technologies
- PhD in Computational Science, Bioengineering, or equivalent experience
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for APAC partnerships
- Certification in Sustainable Innovation Management
