Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2024-2026 horizon) across AI, quantum computing, and neurotechnology to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating exponential technologies into enterprise solutions
- Lead scenario planning workshops for Fortune 500 clients on technological disruption impacts
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-machine symbiosis
- Partner with product teams to incubate prototype technologies with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES Future, etc.) as keynote speaker
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures-thinking methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, futurism, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or Big Tech
- Proven track record of commercializing exponential technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications on technological forecasting
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep network within DARPA, IEEE, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Portfolio of successfully launched products with 5+ year vision cycles
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to executive audiences
