Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying emerging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to anticipate technological disruptions and market shifts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early-stage technology adoption
- Monitor patent landscapes and competitive intelligence to maintain first-mover advantage
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven track record in anticipating and capitalizing on emerging tech trends
- Deep expertise in at least two of: generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Credibility with industry thought leaders and venture capital networks
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFrA) or equivalent
