Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026+ market trends and disruptors
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Lead innovation workshops and hackathons to generate breakthrough concepts
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic solutions into commercial offerings
- Present strategic visions to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Monitor global tech ecosystems and competitive intelligence
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in futurism or emerging tech
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into market-ready solutions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- C-suite experience with strategic decision-making frameworks
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
- Strong data modeling and scenario analysis capabilities
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
