What you'll impact:
You'll drive strategic foresight initiatives, partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with emerging societal shifts, and establish our thought leadership position in the post-2025 technology ecosystem. This role demands equal parts analytical rigor and creative vision.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight framework identifying disruptive trends in AI, quantum systems, and human augmentation
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business units to translate foresight into actionable innovation projects
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for executive leadership on technology convergence points and market disruption risks
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to scout emerging talent and breakthrough technologies
- Represent the company at global tech forums and publish thought leadership on the future of human-machine symbiosis
- Architect an internal 'Future Radar' system using predictive analytics and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership with demonstrable impact on future-facing initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology, or advanced AI systems
- Proven track record of translating complex technological concepts into business strategy and product roadmaps
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate abstract future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies or strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience leading cross-continental teams in fast-paced innovation environments
