Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) and forecast industry impact through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating futuristic technologies into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present trend analysis and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Mentor R&D teams in adopting forward-thinking methodologies and technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused tech strategies
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning skills with proficiency in forecasting tools
- Exceptional communication abilities to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
