Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) to develop strategic 2026-2030 roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into actionable business plans
- Produce horizon-scanning reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer breakthrough technologies
- Represent company vision at global tech summits and industry conferences
- Mentor R&D teams on implementing futuristic concepts into viable product prototypes
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors affecting tech adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully implementing futuristic technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, neurotech)
- Strong network with academic researchers and industry pioneers
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Certification in futures studies or technology foresight methodologies
