Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation pods to prototype next-gen solutions with 18-month commercialization timelines
- Conduct horizon scanning and impact analysis of emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Present strategic briefings to executive leadership and board of directors with data-driven recommendations
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic partnerships, startups, and industry consortiums
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends and ethical implications
- Drive adoption of innovation frameworks like Scrum of Scrums for complex R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (patents or product launches)
- Expertise in futures methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques, technology roadmapping)
- Deep technical fluency in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards of directors
- Published thought leader (IEEE, Harvard Business Review, or equivalent)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Certification in Innovation Management or Technology Foresight (e.g., APMP)
