Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI governance, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and design teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (2026-2030 timeframe)
- Author high-impact whitepapers and thought leadership for industry forums
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of innovation partners
- Drive ethical tech frameworks for emerging AI and biotech applications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or innovation forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Published thought leader in tech ethics or innovation ecosystems
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- Strong network connections with DARPA, IEEE, or similar organizations
