Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market dominance
- Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovation with business objectives and market trends
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through agile methodologies
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investors through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Anticipate societal and ethical implications of emerging technologies and design responsible innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with proven 2025+ vision
- Expertise in futures methodology (horizon scanning, scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or Futurism required; PhD preferred
- Demonstrated success in scaling technological innovations from concept to market leadership
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their convergence
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., from APF or THNK) highly valued
