Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (2026-2030) and synthesize actionable strategic insights
- Architect long-term R&D roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech, and decentralized systems
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech innovation with business objectives and market disruption
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI/ML deployment and responsible automation
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and drive cross-functional adoption of emerging tech
- Lead thought leadership initiatives including white papers and industry conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (e.g., Gartner hype cycle analysis)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3
- Executive-level communication with ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
