Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Present strategic vision to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Drive innovation workshops using speculative design and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable 2020+ foresight projects
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, neurotech)
- Proven track record of scaling futuristic concepts to commercial deployment
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
