Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 10-year technology foresight frameworks for AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Lead scenario planning workshops for global tech disruption risks
- Establish strategic partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and EU Horizon Europe programs
- Present quarterly trend reports to Board of Directors with actionable recommendations
- Mentor junior futurists in ethical technology assessment methodologies
- Author annual 'Future Tech Index' benchmarking report
- Oversee $50M R&D portfolio allocation for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism/foresight roles
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Certified Futurist (CF) from Association of Professional Futurists required
- Experience testifying before Congressional subcommittees on tech policy
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Portfolio of successful technology commercialization initiatives
