Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess business implications
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Author strategic whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning the company as a future-tech pioneer
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D centers
- Design and manage pilot programs for next-gen technologies with measurable ROI
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or Futurism (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or innovation management
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies and their market applications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and influencing high-level decisions
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, academic circles, etc.)
- Track record of successful technology implementation and change management
