Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify market-ready innovations with 5-7 year ROI horizons
- Analyze geopolitical and sociotechnical trends to mitigate disruption risks
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and integrate emerging startups
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and neurotech deployments
- Present strategic briefings to board members and industry consortiums
- Build predictive models for technological convergence tipping points
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network with research labs (MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, etc.)
