Responsibilities
- Lead scenario planning and horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate adaptation technologies
- Present visionary frameworks to executive leadership and board members through compelling data narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs with academic and industry partners
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global futurist conferences
- Guide R&D investments in exponential technologies with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts and strategy consultants
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing long-term (5-15 year) strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling capabilities with visualization mastery (Tableau, D3.js)
- PhD or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field preferred
- Published author or recognized thought leader in futurism/innovation spaces
- Experience leading cross-cultural, global strategy initiatives
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIF, CFS) highly valued
