As the 2026 Vision Lead, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to anticipate paradigm shifts, design resilient future-state scenarios, and drive cross-functional initiatives that transform industries. You'll leverage cutting-edge research, AI-driven trend analysis, and human-centered design principles to build actionable blueprints for sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 foresight framework using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and systemic risks
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish thought leadership through industry conferences and published research
- Monitor global megatrends (demographic shifts, climate adaptation, regulatory evolution)
- Design innovation sprints to test future-state hypotheses with rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futures research, or corporate innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Experience designing organizational transformation frameworks
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping initiatives launched
