Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce executive-level strategic briefings on emerging technologies and their market implications
- Partner with R&D to align long-term research initiatives with future market demands
- Establish key performance indicators for future-readiness across organizational functions
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech, quantum)
- Exceptional analytical and synthesis skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing C-level strategic frameworks for long-term transformation
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications preferred
