Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D priorities and innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership presentations at industry conferences and board meetings
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype future-facing solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory developments affecting long-term tech adoption
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for diverse audiences
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-oriented initiatives
- Ability to synthesize multidisciplinary data from scientific, economic, and cultural sources
