Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and market trends impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks for long-term business planning
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for multiple future possibilities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate future innovations into product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and strategic implications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Innovation, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF) preferred
