Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Produce high-impact reports on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) and societal implications
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-oriented roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for cutting-edge research
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies for product development
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators affecting 2026 technology adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (Web3, AGI, climate tech) and societal impact
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with data visualization tools and trend analysis software
- Portfolio of published foresight reports or strategic futures work
- Global perspective with understanding of cross-cultural technology adoption patterns
