Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies and their business implications
- Produce actionable foresight reports and executive briefings on disruptive forces affecting our industry
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to track cutting-edge developments
- Design and maintain a '2026 Risk & Opportunity Dashboard' for executive decision-making
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and analytical tools
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 7+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing and executing long-term strategic plans (minimum 5-year horizon)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar institution)
- Demonstrated experience influencing C-suite strategy with futures-based recommendations
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
