Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and global megatrends to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop strategic scenarios and roadmaps for 5-10 year horizons, aligning with C-suite vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and business strategy
- Represent company at global innovation forums and publish thought leadership on future-shaping topics
- Identify partnership opportunities with research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and societal shifts affecting 2026 business viability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies with 7+ years strategic planning experience
- Proven track record in scenario planning and trend analysis for technology-driven markets
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into stakeholder narratives
- Published work or speaking engagements at global innovation conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and futures research frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating impact of foresight on business strategy or product development
