Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 technology roadmaps using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging market disruptions and competitive threats
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions in AI ethics and sustainable tech
- Author quarterly foresight reports for executive board and investor communications
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Design and deploy organizational change frameworks for future workforce transitions
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of domain experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major technology disruption predictions validated by market events
