Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026 market landscape
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype disruptive solutions
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex trend analyses into executive-level strategic recommendations
- Oversee incubation of 3-5 moonshot projects annually with dedicated resources
- Represent the company at Davos, TED, and premier innovation conferences
- Mentor internal teams in futures thinking and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or C-suite strategy roles
- Proven track record of commercializing exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in top-tier innovation journals (e.g., HBR, MIT SMR)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend impact analysis
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
- Experience securing >$10M in innovation funding or grants
- Fluency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
