Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop & maintain strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Facilitate C-level workshops on future scenarios and risk/opportunity analysis
- Oversee incubation of moonshot projects from concept to pilot phase
- Establish cross-functional innovation task forces with engineering, design, and product teams
- Produce executive-grade trend reports and scenario planning frameworks
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial strategy
- Expertise in emerging tech (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, Web3)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Portfolio showcasing published trend analysis or innovation frameworks
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
