Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities/disruptions impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain the company's 5-year strategic innovation roadmap
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product/service roadmaps
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and boards
- Build and manage an innovation ecosystem (internal/external partnerships, startups, academia)
- Champion experimental projects with 10-20% innovation budget allocation
- Author thought leadership on future trends and strategic implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year strategic plans
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Strategy, Business, or relevant field (MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation journals
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFMP) or equivalent
