Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify, validate, and prototype disruptive technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainability sectors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global innovation labs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive innovation culture through workshops, hackathons, and thought leadership initiatives
- Monitor emerging risks and opportunities in global technology ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurism roles within tech/biotech sectors
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and competitive analysis
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future studies
- Experience managing global R&D budgets exceeding $10M
