Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and emerging technologies to identify disruptive opportunities through 2030
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks for AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps
- Author strategic foresight reports and executive briefings for board-level decision-making
- Build and manage an innovation pipeline with measurable ROI tracking
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders and technical teams
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from futurist.org) preferred
- Experience in tech, finance, or sustainability sectors
