Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends to develop actionable foresight reports for 2026+ horizon
- Design and implement innovation frameworks to accelerate R&D pipeline and commercialization of breakthrough solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to challenge assumptions and foster disruptive thinking across the organization
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans that prepare the company for multiple future possibilities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and industry thought leaders
- Present compelling future visions to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor innovation teams in human-centered design and agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong background in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives from concept to execution
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership on future trends or innovation strategy
